Washington State Association of Fire Marshals Selects Fire Smarts for Training
Fire Smarts provides fire sprinkler training for the Washington State Association of Fire Marshals and Zone 1 Fire Marshals focused on flow testing and sprinkler system design.
The Washington State Association of Fire Marshals and Zone 1 Fire Marshals has chosen Fire Smarts to provide fire sprinkler training on August 12-13, 2014 to interested members and participants. The training focuses on flow testing, basic hydraulics for sprinkler and standpipe systems as well as basic sprinkler and standpipe system design. Fire Smarts, LLC has been selected for its expertise in the NFPA standards and experience delivering training solutions through it’s globally recognized expert instructors.
This training will focus on the following codes and standards:
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 13 – Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 24 – Standard for the Installation of Private Fire Service Mains and Their Appurtenances
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 291 – Recommended Practice for Fire Flow Testing and Marking of Hydrants
- International Code Council (ICC) – International Fire Code – Appendices B and C

All participants much register in advance through the Washington State Association of Fire Marshals. Training is filled on a first come, first serve basis. To obtain CEU credits or a Certificate of Attendance you need to attend the entire training course.
