This course will cover the fundamentals of designing fire alarm systems for high-rise buildings. The presentation will define what is considered a high-rise building as well as the unique requirements that you must follow for selective evacuation. Concepts such as survivable wiring and class A or redundant circuits will also be covered. An introductory explanation of an evacuation plan will be discussed to outline which areas of the building need to be notified based on the evacuation plan.
