The adoption of modern methods of communication is driving a major transformation in how fire alarm systems communicate with the monitoring centers. This course covers the options available for fire alarm system communication based on Chapter 26 of NFPA 72 ‘National Fire Alarm Code’. The presenter will discuss the three types of monitoring services and their currently available means of communication. Participants will also learn about the various supervisory times used for the different communications methods.
