Course Description: Fire alarm systems consist of many components that must be compatible to ensure the proper performance of the system. This course will discuss the various codes, standards and reference documents involved in fire alarm design with emphasis on compatibility documents and listing standards. The presenter will review the purpose of these documents from the perspective of the different stakeholders involved in a fire alarm system such as the owner, AHJ, installer and designer.
