Course Description: This course is based on NFPA 13 ‘Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems’ and provides an update on the recent developments for the design and installation of fire sprinkler systems. Issues such as the analysis of water supplies, hazard selection, evolving sprinkler technology, and system design criteria are discussed. The presenter will also review the latest information regarding the use of antifreeze solutions for freeze protection, automated testing, and the protection of storage.
