This course discusses the basics of fire sprinkler-related devices that connect to a fire alarm system and is geared towards fire alarm designers and technicians. The presenter will cover typical connection points from the fire sprinkler system to the fire alarm system such as flow switches, tamper switches and low air devices. Participants will also learn about connections for fire pumps and pre-action systems including NFPA 72 updates that require some systems to have additional monitoring points.
