Fire Smarts Selected for 2017 Sprinkler Training by Washington State Fire Marshal’s Office
Fire Smarts selected by the Fire Protection Bureau, Washington State Fire Marshal’s Office, to instruct the 2017 fire sprinkler training courses throughout the State of Washington.
Continuing its tradition and commitment to professionalism in the fire sprinkler industry, the Washington State Fire Marshal’s Office will again be conducting a variety of fire sprinkler training sessions throughout the State in 2017. Fire Smarts, LLC has been selected for its expertise in the NFPA standards and experience delivering NFPA training solutions to create and instruct these training sessions throughout the year.
“Fire Smarts is the sole contractor used in 2014 and 2015 to provide instruction for all classes offered,” said Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal Daniel E. Johnson. “Fire Smarts submitted a bid that was considered very fair in terms of price, included instruction for all classes and provided one point of contact to coordinate with. We have received numerous positive comments on the instructors and training provided by Fire Smarts.”
These sessions are designed to provide continuing education to the authority agencies and those in the sprinkler industry responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. In addition, Fire Smarts is an ICC Preferred Provider for training so many of these training sessions will be approved for International Code Council (ICC) continuing education units (CEU).
“Fire Smarts is honored to work with the Washington State Fire Marshal’s Office to present the fire sprinkler courses again in 2017,” said Ryan J. Smith, President of Fire Smarts, LLC. “Our extensive knowledge of the NFPA standards, our ability to create custom training programs and our top-rated instructors is a perfect fit to meet the State’s fire protection training needs.”
