Fire Smarts Provides Training for Oregon Building Officials Association
Fire Smarts provides fire sprinkler plan review and inspection training at the Oregon Building Officials Association’s Fall Institute.
This year the Oregon Fall Institute organized by the Oregon Building Officials Association (OBOA) made available fire protection training to over one-hundred members throughout the Oregon. OBOA not only educates building officials and their personnel, but also contractors, building designers, architects and engineers. Fire Smarts was selected to provide fire sprinkler training sessions at the conference.
Fire Smarts, LLC was selected for its expertise in the NFPA standards and experience delivering training solutions through it’s globally recognized expert instructors. The training, instructed by nationally recognized NFPA expert Bob Caputo, CFPS, focused on fire sprinkler plan review and the NFPA 25 standard requirements for testing and inspection of fire sprinkler systems with a specific focus on the roles and responsibilities requirements as well as the latest updates to the standard that impact the enforcement of testing and inspection practices.
