This seminar will illustrate the four types of Emergency communications systems included in NFPA 72 and how one system can enhance the communications capabilities of facilities. The seminar will briefly outline the “homework” required when outlining an Emergency communications system as well as how it can be utilized as an all hazards warning system to meet not only Building and fire code requirements but also the requirements of other regulatory agencies such as OSHA or state agency requirements. The program will also review the Emergency response plan and how the fire department factors in as a stakeholder.
